Manas National Park is the only place in India to hold the distinction of being a Tiger Reserve, an Elephant Reserve and a natural heritage site at the same time. Named after the Manas river that acts as the boundary between Assam and Bhutan, Manas National Park is the definition of unadulterated ethereal beauty. During our visit to this enchanting land, we will look for its unique wildlife that comprises of Langurs, Assamese Macaques, Slow Loris, Hoolock Gibbons, Smooth Indian Otters, Sloth Bears, Barking Deer, Hog Deer, Sambar, and Chital. The endangered species in this National Park are the Assam Roofed Turtle, Hispid Hare, Golden Langur, and Pygmy Hog. Sights of unique wildlife set against the backdrop of picturesque verdant meadows is a sight to behold. The tour also includes a visit to the Gorumara National Park where we will look for Black Giant Squirrel, Gaur, Indian Leopard, and the endangered One-horned Rhinos before heading home.
