Overview
On this tour, we take you to the best bird-watching hotspots of the North including Sat Tal, Pangot, and Corbett National Park.
Our checklist includes a plethora of resident and migratory birds of the Himalayas such as Purple and Crimson Sunbirds, Black-winged Kite, Hen Harrier, Chestnut-tailed Starling, Changeable Hawk-Eagle, White-crested Laughingthrush, Rufous-gorgeted Flycatcher, Red-billed Leiothrix, Siberian Rubythroat, and Rock Bunting, etc.
Corbett National Park alone harbors over 600 species of birds; combine it with Pangot and Sat Tal and you’ve got a perfect birding circuit. We will also go for treks along the picturesque nature trails of Pangot and enjoy activities like stargazing and bonfires.

Pick-up from New Delhi at 0600 hrs and transferred to Sat Tal (7 hours drive)

The habitat offers species such as:
White-crested Laughing Thrush, Rufous-gorgeted Flycatcher, Red-billed Leothrix, Siberian Rubythroat, Rock Bunting etc. This scattered and deliberately undeveloped area is one of the most pleasant destinations. Look for Rufous-chinned & White Crested Laughing Thrush, Rufous-breasted Accentor, Greater Yellow-naped Flameback, Speckled Piculet, Golden Bush Robin etc

These walks can be very rewarding
One can see Cheer, Koklas and Khalij, Crested Serpent-eagle, Mountain Hawk-eagle, Woodpeckers such as Brown-fronted, Stripe-breasted, Rufous Bellied etc. Thrushes such as Darkthroated, Mistle etc. Striated Prinia can be see in the terraced fields. Warblers such as Tickell's Leaf-warbler, Greenish, Golden-spectacled, Grey-hooded. Flycatchers such as Asian Brown, Rusty-tailed, Ultramarine, Verditer, Tickell's Blue, Rufous-bellied Niltava etc., Orange-flanked Bush Robin, Blue-capped Redstart. Laughingthrushes such as White-throated, Striated & Streaked, Chestnut-crowned etc. Look for Accentor, Upland Pipit, Blue-winged Minla, Whiskered Yuhina etc. Slaty-headed & Red-breasted Parakeet, Grey Bushchat, Long-tailed & Grey-backed Shrike, Common Kestrel, Besra, Chestnut-bellied Rock Thrush etc. Streaked Laughing Thrush is a common garden bird here

After early lunch, drive to Corbett National Park stopping en route for birding at Corbett Falls.
Arrive Tiger Camp in the afternoon. After check-in, you will explore the river edge at Kumeria in the afternoon for tawny & brown fish owl, Asian barred owlet, plumbeous redstart, brown dipper and the three species of forktails. Other species that are possible in the forest are crested tree swift, spangled drongo, blue bearded bee-eater etc. Overnight stay at Tiger Camp.

In the morning and afternoon, you will be taken for a 4WD safari to the national park for tiger tracking and wildlife viewing. The duration of safari is about three hours and is conducted early morning and in the afternoon till sunset. Each jeep can seat upto four persons comfortably but you will have an exclusive / private jeep for you. Besides you, the jeep will have an expert driver and a nature guide. Overnight stay in comfortable room in Tiger Camp.

After lunch, drive back to Delhi (7-8 hours)
