Overview
The small town of Jageshwar has long been a pilgrimage hotspot, and with the calming and revitalizing energy that emanates from the peaceful town and surroundings, it’s easy to see why. Apart from the ancient temples that draw many to Jageshwar, the surrounding lush deodar pine forests are home to a variety of birdlife, whose song livens up this place.
Jageshwar is a place where the peace and tranquillity of the region permeates into your soul and calms your spirit, where you can appreciate the beauty and energy of nature’s miracles, and while the rain acts as a cleansing and rejuvenating force for the outside world, allow the energy of the place to cleanse and rejuvenate you.
The surrounding forests are home to a variety of birds that call Jageshwar home, from the tiny Plumbeous Water Redstart, to the large Mountain Hawk-Eagle, and from the silent Asian Barred Owlet to the melodious Blue Whistling Thrush.
