You will be met and taken to Pangot (7-8 hours), a journey that takes you on one of the world's more spectacular mountain roads as we climb up into the Kumaon Hills on our way to this delightful 'Lake City'. Drive in the morning to Jageshwar (3½ hours). The drive offers species such as Little Forktail, Khalij Pheasant, Himalayan Barbet, Steppe Eagle, many Raptors etc. This scattered and deliberately undeveloped area is one of the most pleasant destinations. On this day, early morning visit to Jageshwar Temple for puja. Then you can visit Dandeshwar Temple or go to Vriddhya Jageshwar. After darshan, drive to visit Patal Bhuvneshwar cave (105 km / 3.5 hr) and back to Jageshwar. Evening free to enjoy the pine-forested beauty of the sleepy hamlet. Spend a beautiful day in leisure to enjoy the pollution-free environment. Later, exploring the Local Kumaoni villages will give you an opportunity to catch a glimpse of the local people, culture, lifestyle, and architecture.

Drive early morning to Vijaypur (6 hours), stopping en route to check out the thick oak forest just after Chaukhori. Birding in Ramganga River at Nachani can be very rewarding for water birds such as River Lapwings, Waders, Mergansers and other Waterfowl. On the way to Chaukhori, we will stop at alpine meadows to look for Eurasian Jay, Upland Pipit, Grey Winged Blackbird, Indian Cuckoo etc.

Morning safari to Jhirna range forest. You will explore the forest for Asian Barred Owlet, Plumbeous Redstart, Indian Pitta, Spangled Drongo, Yellow-wattled Lapwing, Lineated and Blue-throated Barbet, Oriental Pied and Grey Hornbill, Rufous and Grey Treepie etc. Other species that are possible in the forest are Crested Tree Swift, Blue Bearded Bee-eater etc. Drive back to Delhi at noon. Arrive Delhi in the evening (6-hour drive).
