Arrive in Leh. You will be met and transferred to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day acclimatizing to the environment.

Today, you will have another day to rest and acclimatize, as well as possibly doing a little light sightseeing in Leh.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Sakti, stopping en route at Wari La Pass and Agham for some birding.

Key species - Tibetan Patridge, Robin Accentor, Güldenstädt's Redstart, Bearded Vulture, Golden Eagle, White-browed Tit-warbler, White-throated Dipper

Meals: Breakfast in Agham, and Dinner in Hanle
Accommodation: Hanle Guest House

Early in the morning, we will drive to Hanle, arriving by late afternoon / early evening. 

Spend the rest of the day birding in Hanle (if time permits)

Key Species: Black-necked Crane, Golden Eagle, Ruddy Shelduck, Bar-headed Goose, Common Tern, Northern Pintail, Common Merganser, Black Redstart

Two full days of birding in and around Hanle.
