Indian is blessed to be home to four big cat species: Tiger, Lion, Leopard, and Snow Leopard. These magnificent predators are the highlight of any wildlife tour, and their presence indicates a healthy and rich diversity in their habitats.
The 21 nights and 22 days tour aims at showcasing the diverse species of big cats harboring in India. Based on their habitation, and our expertise, we have meticulously handcrafted a big cat tour that includes Delhi, Leh, Rumbak, Ranthambore NP, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, and Sasan Gir. Your tour will be led by a team of highly experienced guides and a strong backup team and we will ensure you will come home laden with great photo albums consisting of spectacular images of majestic cats.
Hemis National Park is a high altitude national park in eastern Ladakh. It is globally famous for Snow Leopards, and has the highest density of these predators in the world. It is the only national park in India that is north of the Himalayas, and is the largest notified protected area in India. The park is home to a viable breeding population of about 200 snow leopards, especially in the Rumbak Valley area. Hemis is the only refuge in India containing the Urial, and is also home to other Tibetan species, including Tibetan Wolf, Red Fox, Himalayan Marmot, and more.
Established as the Sawai Madhopur Sanctuary in 1955 and declared a tiger reserve in 1973, Ranthambhore was given the status of national park in 1980. The park is made up mainly of deciduous forest, and is considered to be among India’s most beautiful national parks thanks to the ruins of the Ranthambore Fort, and the various adjoining man-made lakes, that create a regal backdrop.
Once a sport hunting ground for the nobles of Jaipur, Jhalana is a leopard-rich forest that is the perfect quick addition to any Jaipur visit. Apart from Leopard, Jhalana has other attractions such as Striped Hyena, Desert Fox, Golden Jackal, Indian Palm Civets, various species of deer, and a myriad of birds, including Indian Pitta, Dusky Eagle-Owl, Spotted Owlet, Jungle Nightjar, and more.
Gir National Park is a national park in Gujarat, India. Established in 1965 for the protection of the Asiatic Lion, the total area of the reserve is 1,412 sq km. The forest is mainly of dry deciduous and scrub types, with many perennial rivers and streams crisscrossing the area. The wildlife of Gir includes large predators such as Asiatic Lion and Leopard, herbivores such as Spotted Deer, Sambar, and Nilgai, a variety of bird species, and more.

Arrive in Delhi in the evening/late evening. You will be met by an Asian Adventures representative and transferred to the hotel.

Today you will be transferred to Delhi Airport in the morning to fly for Leh. This must be one of the most sensational flights in the world. On a clear day from one side of the aircraft can be seen in the distance the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and on the other side of the aircraft, so close that you feel you could reach out and touch it, is the Nun Kun massif. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the hotel. You would take some time to settle in and acclimatize since you have gone from a relatively low elevation in New Delhi to over 11,000 feet! Drive to Zingchan in the morning. This is the entry point to Rumbak Valley - the home of the Snow Leopard. You will have the opportunity to be interacting with the locals of the area and gain a good insight into their culture.

Explore the area on foot with your guide to try and spot the Snow Leopard and other fauna. In the process there will also be plenty of opportunity for you to get enthralling insights into local folklore, as well as learn about their customs and traditions.

Today you trek back to Zingchan and drive back to Leh. Arrive Leh in the afternoon/evening. Overnight stay.

Today you will be transferred to Leh airport to fly back to Delhi in the late morning.
Arrive Delhi at noon. You will be met and transferred to the hotel. Afternoon at leisure.

Early in the morning, proceed to Ranthambore National Park by train (372 km / 6 hr.). Reach Ranthambore in the afternoon. Enjoy the afternoon jungle safari.

Morning and afternoon jungle safaris in Jhalana. In between the safaris, you can opt for some sightseeing in Jaipur city. Explore the monuments such as the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, and more.

Transfer to Jaipur airport and proceed to Ahmedabad. Drive to Gir National Park.

Morning and evening safaris in Gir National Park. These safaris are the ideal way to explore the forests that the Asiatic Lion calls home. In addition to Asiatic Lion, the park is also home to a large leopard population, as well as various other mammals. Gir also boasts a substantial bird list.
