Overview
Our guided birding tour of North India takes you to the best birding sites of North India, such as the Sultanpur Sanctuary, Keoladeo Ghana National Park (more popularly known as Bharatpur), the National Chambal Sanctuary, and the Himalayan Foothills near Nainital.
In addition to this site, a visit to Corbett National Park, regarded as the best Tiger Reserve of Uttarakhand is included. This tour encompasses all the varied landscapes and experiences that North India has to offer. These varied landscapes also give you the chance to see over 350 species of birds, such as Great Hornbill, Kalij Pheasant, Long-tailed Broadbill, Tawny Fish Owl, Cheer Pheasant, Ibisbill, Indian Skimmer, and Sarus Crane, and many iconic mammal species such as Tiger, Leopard, Asian Elephant, Golden Jackal, and Indian Muntjac. A ‘must do’ visit to the iconic Taj Mahal is also included to make this tour well-rounded.

You will be met by your guide for morning birding excursion to Sultanpur National Park (53 km / 1.5 hr). Return at noon. Should you wish to visit any monuments in Delhi in the afternoon, the vehicle and the driver will be at your disposal. Overnight stay

One can see Cheer, Koklas and Khalij, Crested Serpent-eagle, Mountain Hawk-eagle, Woodpeckers such as Brown-fronted, Stripe Breasted, Rufous-bellied etc. Thrushes such as Dark- throated, Mistle etc. Striated Prinia can be see in the terraced fields. Warblers such as Tickell's Leaf-warbler, Greenish, Golden-spectacled, Grey-hooded. Flycatchers such as Asian Brown, Rusty Tailed, Ultramarine, Verditer, Tickell's Blue, Rufous-bellied Niltava etc

Orange-flanked Bush Robin, Blue-capped Redstart Laughingthrushes such as White-throated, Striated & Streaked, Chestnut-crowned etc. Look for Accentor, Upland Pipit, Blue Winged Minla, Whiskered Yuhina etc. Slaty-headed & Red-breasted Parakeet, Grey Bushchat, Long-tailed & Grey-backed Shrike, Common Kestrel, Besra, Chestnut Bellied Rock Thrush etc. Streaked Laughingthrush is a common garden bird here
