We also got a nice Birding trip from Bharatpur to Uttarakhand with (Sattal, Pangot and Corbett), with your driver and (bird) guide Joginder. Excellent Birding tour It was really nice to do this trip, also together him. We really enjoyed it! Joginder showed us again some special birds like Jungle Owlet, Spotted Forktail and so on.

Asian Adventures Birding Tour

It was my first trip to India in 2016. And being a nature lover, I was really skeptical about it, though the friend who had recommended it to me was quite confident that I will come back with memories of a lifetime, He was right. Asian Adventures are not just travel specialists, they are nature conservationists whose each representative, guide has been carefully hand-picked. And so are the lodges where they made us stay. I captured more than 300 species of birds in my camera. No words enough to describe the planning of the tour, the experience, the hospitality - I would love to come back soon, for another Birding adventure - this time to a different location in India.

Thank you for arranging the Pangot Sattal tour especially when we had to contact you at the last moment for a car when we had issues with our flight. My wife Geetha and I had a great time and we managed to spot many of our target birds in spite of this being summer season . Our guide Deepak was excellent and has great field knowledge and helped us spot many of our main target birds like long tailed broadbill , brown wood owl , laughing thrushes , Minlas, koklass pheasant , woodpeckers ( 4 of them ) , forktail etc . Deepak went to great lengths to find each and every bird possible as well as used his knowledge of calls to spot around 100 species . I would highly recommend him and would want to come back next time with your company and Deepak as guide ! Also wanted to thank Pavan our driver who is very professional and hardworking and was always helping . Thank you once again for your professional handling of my trips

While the animals, lodges, scenery, and culture were great, what really made the trip special was Jaipal and our guides? Ganesh, Bachu, and Shyam. Ganesh did a superb job in Pangot and Corbett. He is an excellent birder and showed us many nice species. We learned a lot about your beautiful country, especially that it is full of many kind, hard-working, and special people. You run a first-class operation and we will recommend it to all of our traveling friends.? All of the guides you had organized for us did a good job. Many thanks to you all for making our trip to India a memorable one.

I have been intending to write to give feedback as I wanted to thank you for a great trip. Firstly may I say how impressed I was that from start to end you were very considerate to my requests and the flexibility you showed when I made a last minute request to change my itinerary was greatly appreciated. In respect of accommodation, I was greatly impressed with Kaffal House/ Jungle Lore in Pangot. Staff were very helpful and amenable, the food fantastic and the location ideal. I could easily have spent more time here. I had been spoiled with my Pangot experience! The food in all hotels and accommodation was superb and I enjoyed the meals which were varied and plentiful, sometimes too plentiful as I had put on a little weight!!

Overall I enjoyed my trip and was able to focus on my birdwatching, confident in the knowledge that all other aspects such as transport, organisation, accommodation etc were well taken care of. I thank you again for a truly wonderful trip and I have no hesitation in recommending you to other people. I am seriously considering returning to India, perhaps to visit the north east corner within the next 18 months

I would like to say a big thanks to all of the team for there help and all there work while we were there. The food was excellent and they did there best to give us what we wanted when requested. The guide was excellent and even though he has fished Pancheswar often as he is mainly based at the ramganga his knowledge of Mahseer is excellent and he defiantly contributed to my catches. The driver was very good and we felt safe on the scary roads and always very attentive. The camp manager was very friendly and the porter did a very good job even though he is still learning.

Very good accommodations and restaurant. Attentive staff. Birding was excellent at wetlands. At Ranthambhore Great boutique hotel. Good restaurant and very good staff. Nice way to end the trip. Safaris: Safaris at Corbett and Ranthambhore were very good. We had 4 at each reserve. Glimpsed a tiger on first safari in Ranthambhore and had fantastic prolonged view of tiger on second safari there. Overall more difficult to see tigers than I had anticipated. Hence, the number of safaris I suppose. Sightings of other animals were generally very good on each safari.

Jungle Lore Lodge: Excellent location and very pleasant stay. Staff was very good as was the food - some of the best food of the trip. Bird hide on the premises was a plus. Probably our favorite place, with Chambal a close second

On this 3 nights trip in 2017, Asian Adventures gave me a chance to indulge in a great birding experience. I recommend it for all nature and outdoor lovers, not only because the guides are so well-versed with the region and its bird-spotting locations, but also for the amazing hospitality Asian Adventures had arranged for us. The Jungle Lore birding Lodge where we were made to stay was so very well selected by this trip planner. I have earlier been to India for birding through a different operator in 2014. And I must stay Asian Adventures left me with memories of a lifetime.

As we told Mohit when he kindly called on us in Delhi, we had a splendid time. The programme was just right, with a variety of environments from rivers to parks to mountains, and the birds and other wildlife were even more than we had expected.More important, perhaps, given my wife?s disability, our guide and driver (Deepak and Pamun) were kind and helpful to a fault. Deepak went out of his way to help at all times, and ? most important ? we felt we could rely on him in all circumstances. He also had a thorough knowledge of the birds! Both were also charming and fun to be with. It is not often one can spend three weeks in close proximity with strangers and (on our side at least) have no issues to complain about!

Walterre is one of the most relaxing places I have stayed at, ever. We had wrapped up a trip to Landour and Chopta, and stayed at Walterre for 2 nights before leaving for Bangalore. The experience was thoroughly enjoyable, and this is a must visit place if you like nature and chilling. The accommodation is superb. The house is very well decorated with paintings, prints and cartoons of natural history. We were in the peacock room, which had a blue theme. Very comfortable vintage designed beds, very comfortable and luxurious bathrooms. There are lots of places to sit and relax. Our favourite was the large terrace on the first floor. It has a lot of couches to curl up with a book in the day, and have a drink gazing at the distant lights of Mussoorie , in the evenings. There is a beautiful garden, where you can relax and take a small walk. The food is very homely and tasty. The staff is very helpful and eager to please. If you are a birder, there is a lot to do. The garden itself has crimson sunbird, white-crested laughingthrush, bar winged flycatcher shrike and lots of bulbuls. The stream nearby has 4 kingfishers, including crested. The scrub nearby has 60-70 species of birds. Walterre is ideally located to bookend a trip to Uttarakhand, especially if you are flying into or out of Dehradun. I would most highly recommend it !!

I wish to thank the Asian Adventures Team for the excellent holiday my cousin and I had at Jungle Lore Birding Lodge at Pangot, Uttrakhand. It was a tough and rugged place for us, two senior citizens. But what made it so unforgettable are the beautiful birds all around and the kind and caring staff, who attended to all our needs. After a few marginal additions to the property are made to make it more disabled-friendly, I would highly recommend it for senior citizens with minor disabilities.
